I decided to re-work existing autobiographies using mono printing and photoshop rather than photography which is often used for these types of book.

Work from Illustration on choices week

This was an image produced on Illustrator on a 3 day project using song lyrics. I chose Radiohead's "Chain Reaction, Mutation, Contaminated Population. The image was based around genetic research and picking someone out who wasn't 100% human. The gas masks represented a fear of the unknown and the slightly lighter looking person (opacity) was representative of a clone and the multiple people (me) were the population. I would liked to have done this on a bigger scale with more rows for more impact.

Photos taken around Stroud, subsequently worked into using monoprinting/tracing and then turned into screen prints on various backgrounds.
